LaunchSpace has partnered with the Franklin County Community Development Corporation (FCCDC) and Greenspace CoWork to create a place-based, self-directed accelerator program. The program is committed to building an entrepreneur ecosystem emphasizing inclusion and diversity to lower barriers to entry, provide resources to support success, and grow economic development and independence in the region.
The idea and creation for the Entrepreneur Membership Accelerator program began in spring 2020 while the core team was working on a Massachusetts Office of Business Development grant. During this grant it became clear that our region lacked transparent, affordable and high quality programming aimed at helping early stage entrepreneurs.
In 2023 LaunchSpace partnered with Greenfield Community College and Greenspace Cowork to continue the program. The six-month program provided a cohort of 10 the skills, training, and opportunity for funding to build and scale their businesses. Members got co-working space at GreenSpace co-work in Greenfield and a membership to the makerspace.
During 2024 we will be working with FCCDC and other partners to provide members with on-site and virtual trainings to support them with growing their business.
